PlugShare is not a charging company. PlugShare is just an EV Charging App.
The PlugShare App
The PlugShare app contains a map of charging locations. It will tell you the location of the charger, show a photo of the charger, tell you what type of charger it is, when the charger was last used, how much it costs, and comments from other drivers. If you haven't downloaded the PlugShare app yet, you should.
Map.
Social Component.
The PlugShare app has a social component. You can create a username and profile for your vehicle. You can also add photos to charging locations and add comments. All of the comments and photos are uploaded by users. The comments and photos are useful. One really smart thing that PlugShare does is they allow users to rate the charging locations on a scale from 1-10. 1 being bad and 10 being excellent. When a charging location has a rating of 10 by other users, you know that it works and works well. The rating system is a really handy way to quickly compare charging stations and find the best one.
User Based.
The PlugShare app is user based. That means that the users can add a charging location, add photos, and add comments. PlugShare is the only app that allows users to add a charging location.

There is really no reason not to download the PlugShare app. It's a completely free resource. It will only help you.
I've really found, comparing the ChargePoint app to the PlugShare App that the PlugShare app will sometimes know a "secret" location that the ChargePoint app doesn't show. So, if the ChargePoint app says there are few or no charging locations in your area, check the PlugShare App.
Inclusive.
The PlugShare app is the most inclusive of all of the EV Charging apps. They will show charging locations from all the major charging companies like: Blink, Clipper Creek, Electrify America, Juicebox, PowerFlex, SemaConnect, Tesla, Volta. They also show charging locations from independent owners, and other companies, like SamTrans, independent owned BTC Power Stations, and more. PlugShare is the most inclusive.
Not a Charging Company.
PlugShare is not a charging company. PlugShare is just an EV Charging App. What do I mean by this? This means that PlugShare is not incentivized to show one type of Charging company over another. This means, for example they won't show Volta Charging stations but not show PowerFlex Charging stations. For example: they won't show Electrify America Charging Stations but not show ChargePoint. Why? Becuase they aren't competing for your dollars because they are not a charging company. By not being a charging company, they are more fair with the charging locations that they show.
